I finished listening today & greatly enjoyed the show. I liked how you dug into what makes the dungeon still relevant today. And thank you for mentioning my site. On my blog I'm currently drafting a companion dungeon, "The Forgotten Smugglers' Cave", area-by-area. It is inspired by the line in the coda (which you highlighted), "Do the pirates have other treasure troves hidden in the sea caves?". I plan to run it at Gary Con next spring and then release it.

You mentioned the PDF of the dungeon found at the ZA site, and I just wanted to clarify that the link is not to a pirated copy, but rather to a WOTC site that shared it (just the dungeon) back in a 2008. Unfortunately, for reasons unknown, they have not yet released the Holmes Basic D&D rulebook on DMsGuild. However, what you can find on DMsGuild is a 5E conversion (with some added content) that I made called "The Ruined Tower of Zenopus". For old school enthusiasts I also have notes & stats on my blog for running this "retro".
