This was an excellent listen, thanks! I'd been turned off Psi*Run from its garish cover, but listening to this (and having recently watched The Umbrella Academy) makes me keen to seek out a copy and run it for my group soon.

I agree with your points about the slow-burn release of pre-written mystery clues. In self-promotional news, it's why I designed my EXUVIAE to procedurally generate the investigation of a horror-noir conspiracy. I'd happily send across a comp copy if either of you want to take a look! (I think I did send a copy of it to Rich and I'm happy for him to forward it on if it's simpler.)

Oh man, Umbrella Academy would have been an *excellent* citation for this game. There is a lot to work with there--I'm not a huge fan of time travel in general but it would be an excellent tech for the Chasers to abuse!

Also I am wholly intrigued by a horror-noir game set in a city run by an insect cult, that sounds very much my jam. I'd love to see it! You can contact us on twitter or email farriersbellows @ gmail, whichever is easiest for you.

This was a great episode!

There are a couple of other great games with similar resolution systems, including OtherKind by Vincent Baker, Ghost/ Echo by John Harper, and Goblinville by me.

I love the way it shares control of narrative pacing between players.

Your notes on running a mystery were also quite useful!

This is the second time I've heard of OtherKind this week, and I don't think I'd ever heard of it before then. I need to seriously do some digging, I don't know how that slipped past me! All three of those are definitely on my radar now, thanks! Always looking for stuff with this sort of shared-narrative, exploratory resolution.
