Regarding M&M, why not boot the problem player? If you don't trust him, if he's killing your fun, if he's going to make it so the rest of the table can't enjoy themselves, if he's a repeated problem, why keep him in the group?

I've got several reasons for not taking that tact. Primarily because I think the irritation is more mine than the full table's. That says to me its something I need to handle. Plus I think I've found a reasonable approach I'm going to try out. I'd rather try that first than boot someone because of my hang ups.
