Stump of the First Tree

In days past when wickedness ruled the land, the First Tree that ever lived was chopped down and used as fuel for the fires of war.  Nowadays whenever the blood moon rises, a small sprout of a tree rapidly grows near the stump of the First Tree, seeking vengeance for past wrongs.


If you attempt to pull the small offspring of the First Tree out by the roots, roll +WIS.  On a 10+ the offspring comes out without issue, gain 3 uses of Blood Bark.  On a 7-9, gouts of blood begin to pour out of the stump of the First Tree, the roots of the offspring drink of it greedily as it grows into a monstrous menace.  You must defeat the Assassin Vine (DW Page 265) to get the 3 uses of Blood Bark.
