Gauntlet Calendar
Hollows: Playtest (Session 2)
Jim Likes Games runs for Anders, Berry S, Puckett, and Sabine V.
The Priest joins the Hunters, as they go in search of the Lord of Morningmire.
Apocalypse Keys: Til We Have Faces (Session 9)
Lowell Francis runs for Alun R., Anders, and Puckett
The team returns to DIVISION HQ from Island Zero and face a complicated debrief. The agents get some downtime and decisions about their future are made. But the war goes on and they're dispatched to a hostile and fallen Great Britain where the forces of the Fae threaten their colonialist return. (This starts the mission The Company of Gentry, an AK stretch goal mystery written by Kieron Gillen).
Apocalypse Keys: All the Bells on Earth (Session 9)
Lowell Francis runs for Cat Rambo, Jesse A., José Feito, and Steven Watkins
The team returns from their foray into the The Parasitic Library. After a debrief and some downtime they're dispatched for their new mission: All the Bells on Earth, a case inspired by Tim Powers and American Gods. They arrive in Vegas and most team members quickly go off program to enjoy themselves with the "walking around" money they've been given.
Hollows: Playtest (Session 3)
Jim Likes Games runs for Anders, Berry S, and Sabine V.
The Hunters push into the fen of Morningmire to confront the Tick-Covered Stag.
Rosewood Abbey: Series 1 (Session 2)
The Rolistes Podcast runs for Jim Likes Games, Michele, and Sabine V.
"Grotesque Mockery" is a mystery by Sean F. Smith for Rosewood Abbey. Someone defaced a grotesque from the church's northern transept to the likeness of the Abbey's prior. Three monks (a cheesemaker, an herbalist, and the third looks after the ossuary), are tasked with uncovering who committed this infamy.
#iHunt: *Terms and conditions apply (Session 2 of 7)
Shane runs for Kae, Matthew Arcilla, and Thomas Manuel
After a couple of missed sessions ruined my numbering, we're back - although sadly without Anti-Christian Death Starr. Nikko, Judy and Kraken face a pair of Frankensteins in an abandoned cellar. The hunters each deal with their own romantic disappointments and surprises, as well as problems at home and work, before returning to the #iHunt app to look for new monster-hunting jobs.
Gauntlet Talk
Talking GUMSHOE
Lowell Francis
In this seminar/Q&A Lowell Francis talks about the basics of the GUMSHOE system--how it works, advice for GMing, and best practices for play. This includes a Q&A at the end from participants. He's not an expert on GUMSHOE, just someone who has run it a bunch. Talk outline here.
Other Games
The Between: Stars and Suns (Session 3)
Madelancholy runs for Ben, Eirinar, and Jack
Question-answering took an extended turn, and summoning the Gargoyle turns sensual and dangerous for Lord Oda and Smoke. Mildred meets a mysterious stranger and then seeks the Creature of Cremorne. A lot of Janus Masks were narrated during the Dawn. [Content warning: mentions of self-harm in swallowing, nakedness, blood, veiled sexual descriptions, body dysmorphia, scars]
